Kalkan, once a small and peaceful fishing village is now a sophisticated stylish resort that unusually welcomes people back time after time due to its friendly atmosphere, picturesque setting and its abundance of quality rooftop restaurants, boutique shops and an historic old quarter.
As Kalkan lies at the foot of the Taurus Mountains, the surrounding hillsides offer stunning views over the bay and the islands, the properties in our portfolio have the added attraction of these spectacular views.
During the day, the village holds onto its sleepy atmosphere as people relax by their pools, on the local pebble beach, or at one of the nearby beach clubs. At night however, the village comes alive as both visitors and local people join in the magical Kalkan nightlife, shopping, eating and having a drink in one of the bars.
Kalkan is situated in the heart of Lycia and therefore the surrounding areas offer endless possibilities to take in some local history and culture. Days out include Patara’s spectacular sandy beach, the much photographed Kaputas beach, Saklikent gorge, the sunken city of Kekova, and ancient historical sites such as Xanthos, Letoon, Tlos, Myra and Kayakoy.
The nearby towns of Kas and Fethiye are within an easy drive and are well worth a visit for their own individual characteristics.
There is something to suit everyone who visits!
